Raven’s Story

Raven loves to bellow the old Fae drinking song, A Price to Pay. He has no qualms about reminding one and all that nothing is free, including our actions. We barter, trade, give up what we deem is valuable, and pay the price for what we want or what we’ve done. And sometimes, and much to our surprise, the kindness we show others is all that is needed to have the price paid.

Raven’s wily wisdom is tempered by his addiction to shiny things. If you’re like me and decorate early for the winter holidays, humor Raven by beautifying with lots of silver balls and sparkly garland. I would suggest you place these on outside trees though – unless of course you don’t mind him coming in your house to talk. He’ll gladly oblige you for a hot rum cider and a shiny bauble from your tree.
